Marlon Wayans (born July 23, 1972) is a American actor, comedian, model producer, and director of movies. He frequently collabrates with his brother, Shawn in the WB sitcom, The Wayans Bros., and in comedic films like White Chicks, Little Man, and A Haunted House. He is also the president of his production company, Baby Way Productions.


Wayans starred in the Wayans Bros. with his brother, Shawn. He also produced the first two Scary Movie series, in which he and Shawn were credited as writers and co-stars. Wayans was also considered for the role for Robin in the 1992 film, Batman Returns, but he signed to be in the sequel, Batman Forever to play opposite Billy Dee Williams, but he was replaced with Chris O'Donnell. Wayans also produced a cartoon series on Nickelodeon, Thugaboo, which he says is a combination of Charlie Brown and Fat Albert. Wayans also had a role in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. In 2013, Wayans released his first film that was written by himself, A Haunted House. Marlon was also a guest star on his nephews' series, Second Generation Wayans. Wayans also starred in A Haunted House 2, which was released on March 28, 2014. Wayans also released his spoof comedy film, Fifty Shades of Black in January 2016. Wayans is also set to star in his NBC sitcom Marlon, which is scheduled to premiere in August 2017.
